[EVENT] Reconstruction of Romanian Cabinet
Palace of the Parliament
It is of an easy observation that the Ministries of Romania are in disarray, often working contrary to one another and being inefficient in their objectives. There is an exceeding amount of ministries in the government that simply are not necessary, waste money from the budget, and are generally not needed. The following ministries are to be eliminated, reformed, absorbed, or restructured:
|Ministry of Communications and Information Society||Will be absorbed into the newly found Ministry of Communications|
|Ministry of Culture and National Patrimony||Will be absorbed into the Ministry of Culture and Tourism|
|Ministry of Youth and Sports||Will be absorbed into the Ministry of Culture and Tourism|
|Ministry of Public Consultation and Social Dialogue||Will be dissolved|
|Ministry of Research and Innovation||Will be absorbed into the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration as an autonomous agency.|
|Ministry for Water and Forests||Will be changed into the Ministry of Environmental Affairs|
|Ministry of Tourism||Will have a name change to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism|
|Ministry for Business, Trade and Entrepreneurship||Will merge with the Ministry of Economy into the Ministry of Commerce|
|Ministry of European Funds||Will be absorbed into the Ministry of European Affairs|
|Ministry of Economics||Will be absorbed into the Ministry of Commerce|
Ministry of Commerce
The Ministry of Commerce shall be tasked with the the objectives of promoting and achieving economic growth, set standards for regulations of businesses and industries, promote the creation of new jobs, put out updated and correct data on the state of the economy and trends of it. The current minister for this shall be Afina Bengescu.
Ministry of Environmental Affairs
The Ministry of Environmental Affairs shall be tasked with promoting the safety of the environment, protecting human health, establishing regulations , enforcing laws and acts enacted by the Parliament of Romania to protect the environment, and may fine, sanction, shut down, or warn enterprises or institutions which violate the regulations of this ministry. The current minister for this shall be Aurora Savu.
Ministry of Communications
The Ministry of Communications shall be tasked with the regulation of communications over television, radio, internet, satellite, or other digital means. It shall also be tasked with the promotion of competition in communications services, and promote the expansion of telecommunication networks. The current minister for this shall be Romanitza Comeaga.
Ministry of Culture and Tourism
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism to be in charge of national museums and monuments, such as maintaining them or their creation. The ministry shall be tasked with the protection, and promotion of, the arts, and the Romanian culture. The current minister for this shall be Nicolae Rotaru.
Ministry of National Intelligence and Security
The Ministry of National Intelligence shall be tasked with the monitoring, collection, and processing of information in regards to the national security of Romania, the fight against terrorism, assist the military when necessary, assist the border guards, protect airports and provide intelligence to police forces. The current minister for this shall be Constantin Pavel.
