[CONFLICT] Canadian Forces Deployments and Rotation 2029

Following through with planned deployments and rotations, the Canadian Forces have announced the following deployments and rotations, replacing troops currently deployed abroad. Rotation 3:1 will see a drawdown in forces in all deployments, with the exception of Guyana.

Operation Southern Shield

The Guyana Defence force is only some 5000 strong, and the Canadian government is committed to maintaining the security of it's protectorate. The forces involved in Op Southern Shield are based out of CFB Georgetown.

Operation Blue Citadel

At the request of the Government of Panama, Canadian Forces have been stationed in Panama to help assist with the sovereignty of the Central American nation and train with local troops. As rotation 3:1 begins, the force in Panama will be drawn down to a small RCAF contingent with a handful of troops for base security.

Operation Supporting Glacier

Canadian Forces have remained in Iceland, where they have established a RCAF forward operating location and a small contingent of ground forces.
