Update: Veronica was approached by Sammi one day during her Muay Thai training session. The woman had a glaze of sweat as she slams her entire essence into the bag she had struck multiple times. Her knees, elbows, and her head were just as dangerous as her gunplay; leaving dangerous marks of her might on the material. “Still going at it? Don’t break it now,” Sammi attempted to caution as Vera slams the bag into jiggling.

“You worry too much, Sammi. I can hold my own,” She sighs as she takes the water he supplied her. “Y’know, from what I heard from Svetti…You might actually get to use those skills like you wanted,” He winks to Vera as he points to her. “You mean…I can break aliens across my knee?” Vera sees the male nod.

From the data gathered by the now defunct Wanzer Assault Unit and Nemesis Model Striker; The Greek imported PT “Hades” was introduced as the fruit of such combat research by becoming programmed under the file name Cocytus. The Cocytus was formed basing sleekly engineered plating over advanced cognition servos implanted for a surprisingly nimble unit. As such servos are replaceable; the model Cocytus handles direct engagement into enemy lines well. Sporting a thin but sheeted ward dubbed “Aspida Tis Pistis (Shield of Faith)” the unit never fails to continue its pointed assault into enemy formations.

Pilot Name: Patrick “Patty Cakes” Kio-Ki

Description: The shrimp of the Front; Patrick is quite the out of place Korean in the company. At about 5’3” (160 cm) and 140 lbs (63 kg); Pat hardly is going to the one starting bar fights. He finely combs his straight black hair, even if all of his work is for naught. What he does handle well however is his attire. His lighter blue suit complements his matte black tie done in a half Windsor knot, with his white dress shirt unblemished from the excessive cleaning he does over his wear. Matching slacks complement his shined shoes and crisp clean outerwear.

Bio: Patrick had little in terms of conflict during his life. Born into a middle of the road family with many extended family members; he was never without support. His mother and father doted him excessively to succeed within the business world and make a name for himself. Upon his primary education being successful, he began as a simple cubicle worker and general worksman. Donut runs, coffee acquisition, and file gathering; Patrick was without fail the most reliable drone. Yet this had not bothered him in the slightest. He had a steady pay, the beginnings of his own apartment, even the respect of his family in his struggle into full adulthood. And from the looks of how the woman across from his place glanced at him…potentially a love interest.

That is until he was taken to Columbia with his CEO as a translator. His fluency in Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and German,along with his home spoken Korean and proficient English had not slipped past the higher ups in the company he worked for. Thinking it was simply a business for stock trade; Patrick joins the now traitorous executives on a seemingly innocuous trip.

Roughly a week later; Patrick had been beaten, bashed, and hauled all around the varying cartels, having been sold off by his superiors for his talents as a negotiator and businessman. His use of said talents helped to lengthen his life expectancy by exploiting the one advantage he had over his captors. It would be a happy coincidence that one of the cartels would have made a deal go sour with the Colombian Liberation Front, leading them to desperately offer the meek business man as an exchange for their lives.

He sat in a room surrounded by the now lily livered soldiers watched the Colombian female punch into his stomach. “This'll be you rat asses if you screw with us again, got it?!” The fiery spirit of the woman was quite intimidating; even if he could only see from one eye. “Easy lady, no need to ruin the kid,” A tall African hauls his limp body to a nearby all terrain vehicle to be transported.

Since his recovery; He has devoted to paying his life debt by translating for the leader Svetlana as well as the other members on occasion. Because of his devotion to his family's belief in Buddhism; Patrick feels incredibly uneasy when the concept of violence is brought up. This however does not stop the unwavering feelings of keeping others safe in the heat of battle. Even if he refuses to raise a hand in violence; he would rather fall before seeing another due to such malicious acts.

Pilot Name: Svetlana “Bertsy” Orlov

Description: A 56 year old woman of 5’10” (177 cm) and 155 lbs (68 Kg), Svetlana does well to carry herself in the military world. Her burgundy overcoat hangs usually over her shoulders as she walks, previous war medals adorning the lapel. Her paler blue eyes stand out much more primarily due to the burn scars that mar the right side of her face; skin patchy from a firebomb she had encountered when on duty for the Russian military in the Middle East. The very same bomb scarred her lower back, right side, and partially her chest. Under her overcoat is typically a business suit, firmly pressed and crisp daily.

Backstory: Svetlana was born into a family consisting of her mother from the Russian countryside and her father whom was a private entrepreneur from the United States. Having moved to Russia to start anew, Svetlana’s father was a great influence for her growing up. Hollywood, open business, free to choose life as she pleased, all of this seemed spectacular for the impoverished female.

Sadly; her conscription within the Russian ranks during the Middle East conflict lead her from her dream of American capitalism. She had found her niche within the male dominated army, picking off the higher ranking enemy units from afar. Her prowess within the PTs of the “Last War” was also an exemplary effort by the Russian. It was during a shift in deployment that an improvised firebomb made its way into the establishment her company was in; horribly burning her skin around the face and right half of her body.

Once her tour was completed; The elder female left to Columbia to achieve personal success. Such a desire lead to the creation of the Columbian Liberation Front, a rebellion group which was actually a drug running mercenary ring in disguise. Using PTs as a means of keeping damage control, Svetlana conquered a chunk of Columbia for the Front. In light of recent events, Svetlana has left to join Vera and Sammi in their fight versus the xenos…

Reference

Forming the center point of the machine; the Styx model is the very structure in which the rest of the subsystems operate from. As such, having such inner workings exposed leaves much to be desired in terms of defense for the H3D3S. Svetlana however has custom fitted the model with enhanced weaponry to engage from father away distances. As a result; Svetlana’s marksmanship combined with the strength of the Styx’s arsenal allows for a destructive conduit of raw munitions and destruction.

Pilot Name: Jackson Soldaat

Description: Jackson stands at a proud 6’1” (185 cm) with a well-built body for a 52 old male. Having a rounded bald head with a well-trimmed five o'clock shadow, Jackson does what he can to have an outward appearance. Sporting his father’s old Black Panther Party jacket, he would have quite the time trying to keep himself from a crowd. His years of military experience have shaped him physically to carry on into his older years, with the beginnings of crow’s feet and frown lines forming.

Bio: Born into an unwed family consisting of 2 brothers and one sister, Jackson was the youngest out of his family. His mother and father, despite never formally married; cared deeply for the family out of their suburban Atlanta home. His father would show pictures to Jackson of his former service days, the very same in which motivated the male to pursue the military.

Upon his father’s passing, Jackson had only asked for one of his father’s possessions: His Black Panther jacket. The old leather was familiar to him, and would serve a lasting reminder of the ideals his parental figure went about teaching his family. As he grew; Jackson was put into the American Marines and served his tours of duty during the Last War. Having done proficient inside a PT; Jackson was promoted to frontline against the PFR.

The wizened African would eventually find himself drinking at a out of the way bar somewhere in Columbia, acting as an impromptu guard for the owner. A woman, older than him by the looks of things; sits next to him and orders a martini. The two start to talk, in which her mention of the Last War was brought up.

“You served?” The two discuss business; In which the woman provides a rather hefty check for the services of the former soldier…

Update: Having spent much of his time devoting to his hobbies; Sammi has now become quite applicable with his engineering. As he would mention; he isn’t quite the fighter Veronica is. But his prowess was shown the last time he had a closer look at the enemy mech source codes. “Wait… If that’s all they are using to encrypt the Gur machines, then perhaps it is possible to get them to help us after all,” He cracks his knuckles as the older male’s fingers began to type strings of endless feedback loops and malicious false statements aimed to render the pilot interaction of the machine useless. These higher up aliens never planned for their base ranks to get invaded by this. Best I keep this quiet for now. Sammi continues to type into the night…
